The American Citizen Services Unit at the U.S. Embassy now accepts Visa/Mastercard for consular transactions. This applies to notary services, true copies, passport fees, and other citizenship services.

Make an Appointment!
While all Consular Services are available to walk-in customers, you can significantly reduce your wait time by making an appointment. Appointments are currently available for:
- New passports and passport renewals
- Adding pages to valid passports
- American Citizen Birth Reports (CRBA)

Other Consular Services are currently available on a walk-in basis only. Our normal walk-in hours are Sunday through Thursday from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. We are closed on all Jordanian and American holidays, as well as the final working day of each month.
