PLEASE PLAN AHEAD!!
Schedule your appointment as soon as possible! We recommend you apply at least 90 days before your planned travel. While 80% of qualified applicants receive their visas within two to four business days, some visas must be submitted for further administrative processing which can take as long as several months to complete. This processing cannot be waived or expedited.
The Non-Immigrant Visa Unit schedules non-immigrant visa interview appointments online. Please make only one appointment. Duplicate appointments will be deleted.
Please be aware that you may be at the Embassy for several hours on the day of your interview, so please prepare accordingly. Children under 14 and adults above the age of 80 need not appear at the visa interview in person.

Therefore, only the applicant or the applicant’s attorney can inquire about the status of a visa application.
